Plugged in for Transformation

"But God also gives us the capacity to reproduce the life of the Spirit – the DNA of God, in other people. That’s what transforms us. You cannot alter your natural DNA. You cannot alter the environment you were raised in but you can make decisions based upon the Word of God concerning those two things. You don’t have to remain the natural DNA that you were created – by supernatural infusion being born from above. You receive the DNA of God and that is transforming from the marrow of your bone to the extremities of your skin. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet. It changes every part of you with spiritual life and vitality, and that’s what makes you stay spiritually alive. Keeping plugged in to the DNA of God."

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. (John 15:4 NIV)

Strength, softness, and stubbornness

Like the Chinese bamboo. Strong but very meldable.

"How can you be so soft for God, and yet so stubborn at the same time? Let God bring about His plans in His timing."

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. (Proverbs 16:9 NIV)

.....You love to work. And work was always meant to be a good thing. You're kicking, like give me something to do! And there's this zeal within you to do the hard stuff. But these gates are there for the training of your wisdom......

Judging others

God, I want to see this person or that person changed. I don't like this or that. Why can't breakthrough just happen?

But... God says.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5 NIV)
